Can a welded bracelet be removed?
Yes! Although we love the fact these bracelets are clasp less. They can be removed with a pair of sharp scissors.
Will I need to remove my welded jewellery for an MRI scan?
Solid gold and sterling silver does not impact an MRI scan. However, some medical professionals recommend all jewellery to be taken off. If that is the case, remove with scissors and you can book in to have it rewelded after the scan.
Will permanent jewellery need to be removed before airport security?
Jewellery only triggers metal detectors when it contains magnetic metals. All of our chains are either solid gold, gold filled or sterling silver which are not magnetic - so you can confidently pass security without any inconvenience.
Can I return my permanent jewellery?
As this is a bespoke, personalised service with made to measure chains. I cannot offer refunds. If you lose your chain we cannot offer a refund. However, if your chain breaks at the weld point in the first week of having your jewellery made, we can reweld it free of charge.
Is there an age restriction?
There is no minimum age, however anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. It is a good idea to check with your schools policies regarding wearing jewellery. Clasps are available to add on as an alternative to permanent jewellery
Does it hurt?
Absolutely not, the permanent jewellery is welded closed by a jump ring which does not touch your skin. We use the highest quality machines on the market and the spark that is generated from the machine does not reach high temperatures.
